Surfing

Aside from the following special betting rules, the common betting rules apply. The special rules will take precedence over the common rules nevertheless.

Outright Betting

In order for bets to stand participants must start Round 1 of the specified competition. Bets are void for non-starters.

The payout of bets will be based on the classification at the podium presentation.  Bets will not be amended by subsequent appeals or disqualifications. Bets will be void and stakes refunded if a specific event is not finished.

Match Bets

The winner of the match bet will be awarded to the surfer who advances the farthest in a given tournament. The surfer with the highest score is considered the winner for betting purposes if both mentioned competitors are eliminated in the same round of a particular contest. Bets are void if scores are tied. For bets to stand, both mentioned surfers in the match bet must compete in Round 1.

Heat Betting

For bets to stand all surfers must enter the water for the designated heat; if not, the stakes will be returned and the bets will be void.

Olympic Games

In the Olympics, if any event is postponed, bets will stand providing the event is rescheduled to take place before the closing ceremony.

We reserve the right to void any bets on any outright markets (including but not limited to outright winner, top 3 finish, group winner etc.) if any of the top 3 favourite participants withdraws before the start of the competition. Once the competition begins, all bets stand and any subsequent withdrawals will have no effect on any bets.

All Events will be settled on the official IOC (International Olympic Committee) Results.
