Baseball

Aside from the following special betting rules, the common betting rules apply. The special rules will take precedence over the common rules nevertheless.

1.) Extra Innings: Unless otherwise stated, bets will be settled on the official result including any extra innings.

2.) Playing Time: If the game is abandoned, the results will be deemed official if at least five (5) innings have been played (4 ½ innings, if the home team is leading). The winner is determined by the score after the last full inning (unless the game is abandoned in the bottom half of the inning and the home team is leading, in which case the home team is deemed the winner).

If not otherwise stated this rule applies to all bets.

Exceptions:

  • ‘Live Betting:’  Game must go full scheduled length to have action on all markets - 9 innings (8 ½ if the home team is ahead) for 9 inning games, or to 7 innings (6 ½ if the home team is ahead) for 7 inning games. If the game is called before this time then all bets will be void, except for those that have been unconditionally determined.
  • Finnish Baseball: two halves must be played for bets to stand.
  • Totals: Bets will be settled on the official score after 9 innings (8 ½ innings if the home team is leading). In the event that extra innings are required to complete the game, bets will be settled based on the final official score. If the game is called at an earlier point in time, all bets will be declared void, except when the greatest possible total score that can be bet on has already been reached, in which case all bets stand.

3.) Date: All games must be played on the scheduled calendar day (at the venue) and at the scheduled venue. Otherwise all bets on the game will be void. However, if a game has been suspended after the game has started, due to a weather delay or other deferral, and resumes within 36 hours after the original start time, all wagers will stand. If a suspended game resumes more than 36 hours after the original start time, and the requirements for Minimum Length of Play have not been satisfied, all wagers will be void except for those that have been unconditionally determined prior to the game’s suspension.

4.) Run Line: Bets will be settled on the official result after 9 innings (8 ½ innings if the home team is leading) including any needed extra innings.

Early termination: if a game is terminated due to large lead, all run line bets stand (applies to World Baseball Classics, World Cup and Olympic competitions only).

5.) “Grand Salami”/MLB: This bet refers to the total number of runs scored over all the matches played on a given day. Only games played on the day (according to the MLB schedule) count. Should any games be postponed or any games added to the schedule after the initial odds have been posted then all bets will be void. Should any games be abandoned during play, then all bets will be void.

6.) Division Champions: If the season is shortened for any reason then bets will be settled based on the Division Champion declared by the respective governing authority.

7.) In what situation will (player X) find himself at the end of his 1st at bat: Bets will be settled on the action following the nominated batter leaving the home plate. He will either be “Out”, “On Base” or he will score a “Home Run”. Any actions caused by another batters appearance on the home plate do not count for betting purposes.

8.) If a moneyline, total or handicap bet ends in a draw and no odds have been offered for this option, all bets will be void.

9.) Player special bets: the respective player must compete in the game for bets to stand.

10.) Player vs. player match-ups – long-term (e.g. Which player will score the most runs in the regular season? Player A/Player B): If one player is not on the active roster of day one of the regular season, all bets will be void. If either player switches teams, combined statistics count.

11.) How many regular season wins will team X record?: The team must play a minimum of 159 regular season games for bets to stand.

12.) Series betting: A Series according to this bet is a number of games (usually 3 or 4) which are played in a row by the same teams at the same venue. Series betting refers to the team who wins more matches within the series - in case of a draw (both teams win the same amount of matches) all bets are void.

  • Only games finished within the specified time frame for the series count.
  • If one team should play another opponent between the scheduled games of the series, this game has no influence on the series betting.
  • For all bets to stand, at least one game of the series has to be played.
  • If a game during the series is called, this game is considered valid for the series if there is an officially declared winner.
  • A suspended game from a previous series is not considered part of the current series.
  • If a game is delayed or suspended for any reason but continued and finished within the same day, the game counts for the series.

13.) Hit(s):To achieve a hit, the batter must reach first base before any fielder can either tag him with the ball, throw to another player protecting the base before the batter reaches it, or tag first base while carrying the ball. The hit is scored the moment the batter reaches first base safely; if he is put out while attempting to stretch his hit to a double or triple or home run on the same play, he still gets credit for a hit (according to the last base he reached safely on the play).

If a batter reaches first base because of offensive interference by a preceding runner (including if a preceding runner is hit by a batted ball), he is also credited with a hit.

14.) Home Run Derby: Calculation of total home runs for Home Run Derby wagers includes home runs achieved during swing-offs.

15.) Head to Head Regular Season Wins: Wager on the number of regular seasons wins made by one team vs. another team. Minimum of 159 games must be played by each team for bets to stand, except for those wagers that have been unconditionally determined

16.) Baseball Player Props:

Batter v. Batter Most Walks: Settled based on which batter records the most walks in their at-bats in a game. This does include intentional walks.

Batter v. Batter Most Hits:  Settled based on which batter records the most hits in their at-bats in a game. If a player reaches base due to an error, that will not count as a hit for that player.

Batter v. Batter Most Home Runs:  Settled based on which batter records the most home runs in their at-bats in a game. Inside the Park Home Runs do count for this market.

Batter v. Batter Most Total Bases:  Settled based on which batter records the most total bases in their at-bats in a game. Total Bases only include what the player hits for (singles, doubles, etc.).

Batter v. Batter Most Extra Base Hits:  Settled based on which batter records the most amount of doubles, triples, or home runs in a game.

Pitcher v. Pitcher Most Strikeouts:  Settled based on which pitcher records the most amount of strikeouts in the game. Dropped third strikes count towards the pitcher’s total strikeouts.

Pitcher v. Pitcher Fewest Walks:  Settled based on which pitcher records the least amount of walks in a game. This does include intentional walks.

Pitcher v. Pitcher Fewest Hits:  Settled based on which pitcher concedes the least amount of hits in a game. If a player reaches base due to an error, that would not count as a hit conceded by that pitcher.

Pitcher v. Pitcher Fewest Home Runs:  Settled based on which pitcher concedes the least home runs in a game. Inside the Park Home Runs do count for this market.

Pitcher v. Pitcher Fewest Total Bases:  Settled based on which pitcher concedes the least Total Bases in a game. Total Bases only include what the player hits for (singles, doubles, etc.). Walks, errors, and dropped third strikes do not count towards this market.

Pitcher v. Pitcher Fewest On Base:  Settled based on which pitcher has the least amount of players on base in a game. Walks do count for this market, but errors and dropped third strikes do not count for this market.

Pitcher v. Pitcher Fewest Extra Base Hits:  Settled based on which pitcher concedes the least Extra Base Hits in a game. These only include doubles, triples, or home runs in a game.
